I am a Materials Scientist by profession and presently, I work as a Sr. Member of Technical Staff, Module Process Engineering, at Applied Materials. <br><br>I obtained my PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida in 2016. I worked extensively on catalysts for direct methanol fuel cells, but as a side project, ended up working on MIMCAPS (Metal-Insulator-Metal Capacitors).<br><br>Why Quantitative Quill? I love numbers. Hence Quantitative. I like writing and much of this blog will have text on it &#8211; hence Quill. I am fully aware of the fact that I am typing down these words, but Quantitative Quill has a better alliterative feel to it than Quantitative Keyboard or something. <br><br>On this webpage, I am aiming to explore my curiosity with numbers. I&#8217;ll look at datasets, I&#8217;ll do a few simulations here or there. In general, my attempts have always been to view the world through the lens of numbers and statistics &#8211; and that is what I wish to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below is a version of my AI avatar.
